Before you start

Make sure you have the following ready. Setup will go smoothly once these are in place.

Active subscription

Your welcome email contains your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials

Internet connection

25 Mbps or faster recommended. Ethernet is always better than Wi-Fi for live streaming

Amazon Firestick & Fire TV Cube

Firestick Setup Guide

1

Enable apps from unknown sources

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. Confirm when prompted. This allows you to install apps not listed in the Amazon App Store.

2

Install the Downloader app

From the Firestick home screen, search for "Downloader" in the App Store. Install it (it is free) and open it. Allow storage permissions if prompted. Downloader lets you install apps using a URL.

3

Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters

We recommend TiviMate for the best Firestick experience. Use Downloader to install TiviMate via the URL provided in your welcome email. Alternatively, IPTV Smarters Pro is available directly in the Amazon App Store — search for it there to skip the sideloading step.

4

Open the app and add your playlist

Open TiviMate or IPTV Smarters. Select Add Playlist (TiviMate) or Add New User (IPTV Smarters). Choose M3U URL or Xtream Codes. Enter your credentials from your welcome email and confirm. Wait for channels to load.

5

Browse and organize your channels

Once loaded, browse channels by category (Sports, News, Entertainment, Kids, etc.). Mark favourite channels for quick access. Your Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) will load automatically if included in your plan.

Pro tips for Firestick

  • Use an ethernet adapter ($15 from Amazon) for the most stable streams — far better than Wi-Fi
  • Unplug your Firestick from power for 30 seconds weekly to clear its cache
  • Clear the IPTV app cache if it feels slow: Settings → Applications → TiviMate → Clear Cache
